Fragrance information:

2017: the world took its first breath of Roaring Radcliff Penhaligon's. This is a masculine fragrance rooted in the east and gourmet families. The talent of Daphne Bugey is written all over this bottle. The fragrance belongs to the drinks, sweet, and ambery groups. The palette of this fragrance is exceptionally rich: traces of wood can also be found — a rare combination that makes this perfume truly one of a kind. Roaring Radcliff — a proud member of the Portraits collection. Released in eau de parfum.

Expect a noticeable sillage — enough to be remembered, not enough to overwhelm. Apply 1-2 sprays whether on skin or fabric — it works equally well either way. The longevity is high — this one will stay with you for the long haul. Country of origin — the United Kingdom: no wonder the fragrance turned out this refined. Roaring Radcliff Penhaligon's — the choice of those who appreciate depth and character in every detail.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Roaring Radcliff unfolds as an expressive line of development, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Penhaligon's comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum keeps a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Ambery, Drinks, Sweet and Wood. It also reaches into Gourmet and Fairy.

When the structure is mixed the fragrance opens as a single chord with a resinous-sweet mood: Ambergris, Gingerbread, Rum and Tobacco.

The inner phases are felt as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which gives the structure continuity.

The olfactory framework is driven by these accords: Gourmet, Wood, Amber and Alcoholic forming a compact and readable structure. The gender direction is masculine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. In wear duration High suggests confident staying power.

In summary Roaring Radcliff sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best experienced through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The fragrance is indeed rich, the tobacco in it is clearly felt, and bitter spices add an interesting accent. The longevity is impressive, it's not so easy to wash off. However, I can't say that it completely envelops everything around. Overall, it's quite an interesting option, but not for everyone. POWER!

This fragrance reminds me of Dorothea, but with an interesting twist! There are a lot of spices here, and it clearly leans towards tobacco and rum. Although it has something in common with well-known tobacco perfumes, you can't call it unique. But, despite that, it still evokes pleasant emotions and creates a festive atmosphere!!!
