Description of the composition

The composition of Huntsman is built as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Perfumers Guild comes through from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Citrus, Fruit, Spicy and Floral. The palette also extends to Whiteflower, Ambery, Earthy / Mossy and Wood. At family level the scent maps to East and Floral.

In the top tier you detect invigorating sunny top notes: Bergamot, Lemon, Melon and Orange.

In the heart you notice Cinnamon, Clove and Jasmine carrying a cinnamon-nutmeg direction. At the foundation the composition is fixed through Ambergris, Oak moss, Sandalwood and Vetiver, shaping a deep woody trail.

The internal accord map rests on these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Wood without random overlap. Additional accords such as Amber and Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The stylistic positioning is masculine, which clarifies the composition character.

Overall Huntsman sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best judged on skin.
