Bois d‘Oud Perris Monte Carlo arrived in 2012 — and it was immediately clear this one was here to stay. By character, a unisex fragrance drawing from the spicy and east families. Perfumer Gian Luca Perris poured every ounce of mastery into this one. Part of the Gold collection, available as eau de parfum.

The sillage is very delicate — an intimate cloud that stays close to the skin. A delicate fragrance with very low longevity — but what a first impression it makes. Brand country — Monaco. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Description of the composition

The composition of Bois d‘Oud is shaped as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The style of Perris Monte Carlo is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum supports the right density and pace of development.

In the top tier you sense radiant lemon-bergamot first notes: Bergamot and Fruit note.

When the opening settles you detect Cardamom, Jasmine, Rose and Spices keeping a cinnamon-nutmeg direction.

The internal accord map is driven by these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Musc with each one in a clear role. Secondary accord layers such as Wood and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The profile is unisex, which clarifies the composition character. In longevity terms Very low indicates a stable lasting impression.

Suffocating, cloying, with honeyed amber. It's also very intrusive, dense, long-lasting, and leaves a trail. This fragrance is a real slap in the face. It definitely shouldn't be worn in the office or enclosed spaces. Only outdoors, so it can fully unfold

Summer oud is simply magnificent. You can feel fruits in it, and a tarry accent adds a bit of saltiness. Rich, yet light, it won't feel heavy in the heat. The composition is truly beautiful, unusual, but at the same time captivating

The perfume is really strange, but at the same time incredibly captivating and amazing! On me, it revealed an ink scent, as if I went back to my school years, and added a smoky, slightly smoked plum to it.
