Description of the composition

The scent of Oud Black is built as an expressive line of development, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The signature of Prive is clear in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum keeps a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

At the opening of the pyramid you catch incense warm first note: Labdanum. Exactly this 1 note builds noble smoky warmth that anchors the first impression immediately.

When the opening settles you meet Patchouli carrying a structural woody direction. At the foundation the line is anchored through Oud, Rose and Sandalwood, extending a earthy woody-resinous trail.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Balsamic, Floral and Wood without random overlap. The gender direction is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Balsamic, Wood, Floral and Whiteflower. It also reaches into Spicy. Within olfactory families the composition sits in Floral and Spicy.
