Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Charlie Black evolves as a continuous scent journey, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The signature of Revlon comes through from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette sets a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Fruit, Citrus, Gourmet and Sweet. The palette also extends to Ambery, Floral and Musk. Within olfactory families the scent maps to East.

As soon as the fragrance opens you catch juicy fruity opening notes: Cherry, Lychee and Mandarin.

In the heart you detect Almond and Caramel holding a velvety vanilla-coffee direction.

The internal accord map rests on these accords: Citrus, Gourmet, Floral and Fruit forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Musc, Amber and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The profile is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Overall Charlie Black sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. This is the type of composition best judged in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This cherry compote scent is just gorgeous! 🍒 It seems totally forgotten, even though it's not really that old. I haven't come across it in ages, but it brings such an incredible vibe. Nothing complicated, just a bright and positive cherry compote with a pit, definitely worth a try!
