Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Gold Diamond is built as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Roberto Verino comes through in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum sets the depth and body this composition needs.

In the top tier you sense radiant lemon-bergamot opening notes: Blackcurrant, Grapefruit and Mandarin. These 3 notes set a sensation of cool purity that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

At the core of development you meet Jasmine, Rose and Violet leaf holding a sensual jasmine direction. At drydown level the structure settles through Patchouli and Tonka bean, reinforcing a deep woody trail.

The stylistic positioning is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Fruit, Citrus, Whiteflower and Floral. The palette also extends to Green, Wood and Spicy. Within olfactory families the scent maps to Chypre and Floral.

Overall Gold Diamond sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best judged through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The scent seemed quite dusty to me. Patchouli and rose create the feeling that I'm in an abandoned place. There's no dampness, but there's a dry layer of dust. This, of course, sparks interest, but the synthetic notes that appear in the drydown tell me that this perfume isn't for me )

For an inexpensive fragrance, the longevity is quite decent, and the sillage is also pleasing. The opening is indeed fresh, with citrus and fruits, and then jasmine and rose with patchouli unfold. But something about this scent bothered me. At first I thought I'd buy it, but then I changed my mind 🤔

In the second fragrance of this brand, blackcurrant immediately catches attention with its bitter, resinous taste. Then patchouli and bright jasmine come into play, as if covering everything with their oily cloud. This transition makes the fragrance deeper and richer, but, honestly, it makes me a little wary. It's somehow too unexpected, like someone decided to throw in a surprise
