Description of the composition

The scent of Dance Red Midnight is built as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Shakira is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de toilette sets the right density and pace of development.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Whiteflower, Wood and Gourmet. The palette also extends to Floral. From a family perspective the fragrance belongs to Floral and Wood.

In the top tier you meet radiant lemon-bergamot first note: Bergamot.

In the middle phase you detect Orange blossom and Tuberose keeping a silky white floral direction. In what remains on skin the structure settles through Patchouli and Vanilla, extending a earthy woody-resinous trail.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Citrus, Floral, Wood and Spicy forming a compact and readable structure. The profile is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

What a wonderful scent! I'm absolutely thrilled! The sweetness and playfulness in it are surprising. Vanilla and orange blossom combined with cranberry create a stunning bouquet. The tuberose here is so creamy, just super! And cherry, though not listed, I distinctly sense it. This fragrance reminds me of Scandal By Night, but in Shakira's version, I feel real ripe cherry and honey notes, which are also not declared. Longevity and sillage are quite average, but it lasts for half a day easily. Reapplying it is a pure pleasure! This Dance is simply gorgeous! 🎉

The bottle is simply gorgeous, looks very stylish and expensive, and the smooth glass adds to its charm ✨ To be honest, the scent pyramid doesn't excite me. Tuberose is a real problem for me, I don't want it to be too intrusive 😅
