Fragrance information:

Exquisite Corpse by the American brand Smell Bent is a unisex composition released in 2011.

The fragrance belongs to the Oriental and Spicy families, and was created by the brand’s founder, Brent Leonesio.

Like all Smell Bent creations, Exquisite Corpse combines a playful spirit with the high quality of niche perfumery.

Character and Sillage

This is an eau de parfum with a very strong sillage. Exquisite Corpse is vivid, warm, and spicy, leaving a noticeable trail behind it.

Thanks to its high concentration and richness, one or two sprays are enough for the fragrance to fully unfold.

The scent develops equally well on skin and clothing, retaining its depth for many hours.

Fragrance Notes

The composition is built around three key accents: spicy cinnamon, smoky tobacco, and a warm woody accord.

This minimalist yet expressive combination creates a cozy, enveloping scent that is perfect for cooler weather and evening outings.

Similar Fragrances

If you enjoy Exquisite Corpse, consider the following compositions: Durance en Provence L'òme Zeste de Vétiver, Stradivarius N° 125 Wood, and Mouson / J.G. Mouson & Co.

Globetrotter. These fragrances share a similar mood and will also appeal to lovers of spicy and woody notes.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Cinnamon and woody notes. Sounds warm and dry, creating an intriguing atmosphere. I can't say the sillage is impressive or that it unfolds brightly, rather, it's a quiet, layered sound that leaves a mystery
