Sospiro Perfumes launched Vivace in 2011 — and it was a brilliant move. A unisex fragrance belonging to the chypre, east, and wood families. Perfumer Christian Maurice Carbonnel poured every ounce of mastery into this one. One of the scents from the Chapter I collection. An eau de parfum — light-footed, but utterly unforgettable.
It carries a noticeable sillage, leaving a trail that lingers pleasantly in the air. The longevity is genuinely phenomenal: firmly in the very high range. Made in Italy, backed by a long and proud tradition. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.
The fragrance is very long-lasting, staying on the skin for 12 hours or more, gradually revealing its notes
The scent is clearly present near you, but it does not fill the entire space
The perfume has a rich aroma that will help you stand out from the crowd and create a memorable image
A rich and elegant fragrance that gently unfolds on the skin and lasts most of the day, leaving a delicate trail
Perfumes for the fall and winter seasons often contain notes of vanilla, spices, ambergris, wood, and other warm accords, creating a feeling of comfort and warmth during the cold months
The composition of Vivace is built as a cohesive olfactory arc, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Sospiro Perfumes is evident in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum emphasizes a balanced rhythm of unfolding.
At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Aromatic, Citrus, Spicy and Floral. The framework further includes Wood, Ambery, Animals and Balsamic.
Right at the start you meet refreshing herbal top notes: Basil, Clary Sage, Lemon and Oregano.
In the middle phase you sense Cinnamon, Clove, Geranium and Patchouli holding a velvety rose-iris direction.
The accord architecture is shaped by these accords: Animalistic, Balsamic, Aromatic and Citrus without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Floral, Musc, Wood and Amber add depth to the backdrop. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which clarifies the composition character. In wear duration Very high points to a sustained drydown presence.
In summary Vivace reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. These are the fragrances best judged in wear.
