Description of the composition

The composition of Midnight Bloom is shaped as a living composition, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The signature of Stila is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum keeps the depth and body this composition needs.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Ambery, Fruit, Whiteflower and Wood. It also reaches into Floral. At family level the scent maps to Floral.

When the structure is mixed the notes arrive together with a voluminous amber mood: Ambergris, Fig, Gardenia and Sandalwood. Here 4 notes sound as one voice, building golden warm radiance that feels seamless.

The inner phases are read as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The internal accord map is driven by these accords: Floral, Fruit, Wood and Amber forming a compact and readable structure. The gender direction is feminine, which clarifies the composition character.

In summary Midnight Bloom reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best understood in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This fragrance reminds me of chewing gum, but not a fruity one, rather some strange mix that causes bewilderment. There's something cool about it, but I can't quite put my finger on what it is. Fig. I used to not like it or perceive it, but in this perfume, I suddenly felt a note that reminded me of Oedo by Diptyque. Many claimed that Oedo had juicy fig, and maybe this really is it. SADNESS
