Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Winter Dew evolves as a layered story, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of The Body Shop comes through from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

The profile is feminine, which clarifies the composition character.

Even with partial top-note data the composition still reads cohesive and focused, and the very first impression stays clean and precise.

The deeper layers are felt as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which gives the structure continuity.

Its family/group profile is still recognizable through stage transitions.

Overall Winter Dew sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. These are the fragrances best judged on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The scent is truly snow-white, you feel freshness and purity, but there's something powdery about it. For some, it will be a discovery, for others-just a soapy smell. Personally, it hasn't clicked for me yet, I guess I'm not in the right mood right now 😅
