Yin Transformation: The Scent of Harmony by The Harmonist

Released in 2018, The Harmonist Yin Transformation is not just a perfume, but a philosophical journey into the world of yin energy.

Part of the Yin Transformation collection, this fragrance symbolizes inner transformation and balance, reflecting the brand's deep mission to harmonize humans with the environment.

Founded in 2015, The Harmonist has established itself as a project where each fragrance serves as a tool for mental equilibrium.

Yin Transformation embodies this idea, offering a universal resonance that connects with those seeking calm and renewal in daily life.

A Universal Scent for Everyone

As a unisex perfume, Yin Transformation is created for a wide audience, blurring the lines between masculine and feminine.

Its concentration as perfume water provides a gentle yet long-lasting formula, ideal for daily wear in any situation—from the office to a romantic evening.

Belonging to the floral family, this fragrance exudes freshness and lightness, making it a perfect choice for warm seasons.

Although data on sillage and dosage are not specified, its balanced nature allows for a smooth unfolding without overload.

Description of the composition

The composition Yin Transformation skillfully weaves three key elements into a harmonious symphony.

Floral notes open the fragrance with a fresh, airy chord, reminiscent of delicate petals in a spring garden.

White musk adds warmth and sensuality, enveloping the skin with a gentle, almost weightless trail.

Sandalwood completes the composition with woody depth and stability, creating a soothing base that perfectly reflects the theme of transformation.

Together, these notes smoothly transition into one another, from a bright start to a calm finish, imparting a sense of balance and wholeness.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Very high (more than 12 hours)

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Here, an interesting nuance of ylang-ylang is clearly audible, along with musk and light woody resins. The fragrance initially impresses with its richness, but then, unfortunately, quickly weakens and becomes quite delicate ))

I read that this perfume was supposed to be about a rare Californian orchid, but in reality, it's just a mix of some honeyed flowers, ylang, and a ton of musk. The scent is too sharp, just unbearably persistent. If you like fragrances that hit you in the face, then this is for you 😤

Honestly, the second version seems more plausible. It has lactonic notes, powdery iris, and some delicate flowers. But, damn, the fragrance is too quiet and unexpressive. It lacks brightness to really grab you

There's complete CONFUSION with the notes here. In one version: top notes are bergamot, grapefruit, lemon, and aquatic accents; heart notes are white freesia, orchid, ylang-ylang, rose, and hedione; and base notes are sandalwood, benzoin, iris, and white musk. However, the official website lists different notes: top notes are Calypso orchid, mandarin, and Bulgarian rose; heart notes are almond milk, ylang-ylang, and iris; and base notes are white musk, sandalwood, and benzoin. How can they be so mixed up? It's just HORRIBLE!
