Midnight Saffron joined the Tom Daxon portfolio in 2018. A unisex fragrance rooted in the spicy and east families. Conceived and brought to life by perfumer Tom Daxon. The fragrance belongs to the spicy, green, and leather groups. An eau de parfum — light-footed, but utterly unforgettable.
The sillage is noticeable — present, but never overpowering. Expect high longevity: it stays close to the skin for hours. Produced in the United Kingdom, and you can feel it in every note. Midnight Saffron Tom Daxon unfolds gradually, effortlessly, and with great refinement — a perfect choice for day or evening.
The fragrance is highly persistent and lasts on the skin for up to 8–10 hours, gradually revealing its notes and allowing you to enjoy the full bouquet throughout the day
The scent is clearly present near you, but it does not fill the entire space
The perfume has a rich aroma that will help you stand out from the crowd and create a memorable image
A rich and elegant fragrance that gently unfolds on the skin and lasts most of the day, leaving a delicate trail
Perfumes for the fall and winter seasons often contain notes of vanilla, spices, ambergris, wood, and other warm accords, creating a feeling of comfort and warmth during the cold months
The composition of Midnight Saffron is shaped as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The signature of Tom Daxon is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum keeps a balanced rhythm of unfolding.
At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Green, Leather, Spicy and Whiteflower. It also reaches into Ambery and Gourmet.
In the top tier you catch spicy sparkling top note: Saffron.
At the core of development you sense Jasmine, Lavender and Suede carrying a silky white floral direction.
The olfactory framework rests on these accords: Aromatic, Floral, Amber and Leather forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The profile is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. In longevity terms High suggests confident staying power.
Taken together Midnight Saffron reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best understood through real development.

At some point, as the lavender and saffron begin to fade, bitter almond appears - it's like the last chord from the saffron, transitioning into suede. The suede turns out interesting, with delicate green notes and a musky finish. If you love unusual fragrances with spicy leather notes, Midnight Saffron is worth trying, although you shouldn't expect anything supernatural. All the most interesting things happen in the first few minutes, and then the fragrance fades into the background
