Perfume information

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Toni evolves as a living composition, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The signature of Toni Gard is evident in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum keeps a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

When the structure is mixed the notes arrive together with a amber-warm mood: Ambergris, Ambroxan, White Cedar and musk. Here 4 notes work as one coherent layer, forming amber depth that keeps the opening compact and balanced.

The middle and base stages are perceived as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which gives the structure continuity.

The accord profile rests on these accords: Musc, Wood and Amber without random overlap. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which clarifies the composition character.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Ambery, Wood and Musk. Within olfactory families the composition sits in Amber.

In summary Toni reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best judged in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The fragrance starts with the bright freshness of ambroxan and coniferous notes. Resins add warmth, creating an interesting contrast. This is something unusual for me, but I really like it! 🌲

At first, I was thrilled when I felt enveloped by a soft and sweet scent, like a cozy cocoon. But that happiness quickly faded, and the smell became ordinary, like many others. Ambroxan gave off sour notes, as often happens. The fragrance isn't bad, but why bother when there are masterpieces like Molecule or Not a Perfume
