Verdúu launched Christopher Shannon in 2017 — and it was a brilliant move. A unisex fragrance belonging to the spicy, floral, and aromatic families. Conceived and brought to life by perfumer Mark Buxton. By character, it falls into the spicy, green, and ambery groups. The scent of Christopher Shannon unfolds as a layered story, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Verdúu is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum keeps the right density and pace of development.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Ambery, Citrus, Floral and Green. The palette also extends to Musk, Spicy, Whiteflower and Wood.

From the first breath you sense spicy sparkling top notes: Caraway, Ginger, Lavender and Mandarin.

In the central layer you sense Magnolia, Mimosa, Orange blossom and Rose keeping a harmonious floral direction.

The fragrance, in my opinion, is clearly more for men. At first, there's a sharp freshness of citrus and greenery, and then they smoothly transition into delicate floral notes, reminiscent of rose. But, despite this, it still retains its sharpness 🌿

The fragrance, where wood intertwines with spices and flowers, leaves a rather vivid impression. It's truly invigorating, but at first, ginger tickles the nose, and then notes of orange blossom, magnolia, and powder unfold. The rose, it seems, slightly overshadows the overall picture. The wood smells noble, but, honestly, for me, it's too much. At the very beginning, it's a bit sharp, and I probably wouldn't buy it for myself. The longevity, by the way, is good. The price is quite adequate - it costs fifteen hundred at L'Étoile. But there's something melancholic about it, as if it reminds you of something lost )
