Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Flowerbomb Limited Edition 2011 is shaped as a layered story, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Viktor & Rolf is clear from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum keeps the right density and pace of development.

From the group perspective the profile is anchored in Citrus, Floral, Green and Whiteflower. The framework further includes Wood, Musk and Gourmet. From a family perspective the composition sits in East and Floral.

As soon as the fragrance opens you sense sparkling citrus top notes: Bergamot, Osmanthus and Tea.

In the central layer you detect Freesia, Jasmine, Neroli, Orchid and Rose holding a opulent floral direction.

The olfactory framework is built around these accords: Citrus, Floral, Musc and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. The gender direction is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Overall Flowerbomb Limited Edition 2011 holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best judged in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

There are so many ribbons on the bottle, you can barely see it. Honestly, it's overkill. The fragrance, for me, is no different from the regular version, I didn't notice anything new. It's better to remove the ribbons right away, they just get in the way 😒

The pink bottle is simply gorgeous, and the ribbons add a girlish charm. The content perfectly matches this image. A vibrant rose combined with osmanthus and tart bergamot create an interesting effect. The scent is sweet and deep, with patchouli that unfolds later. It truly smells rich and leaves a sillage. This is a luxury classic, no doubt ))
