Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Dhofar evolves as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Xerjoff is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum sets the right density and pace of development.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Aromatic, Citrus, Spicy and Green. The framework further includes Wood, Whiteflower, Floral and Animals. At family level the scent maps to Fern and Wood.

In the top tier you catch spicy-green opening notes: Basil, Bergamot, Coriander and Grapefruit.

When the opening settles you detect Galbanum, Laurel, Orange blossom and Rose holding a cool herbal direction.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Floral and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Amber and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The gender direction is masculine, which clarifies the composition character.

Taken together Dhofar holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best understood on skin.
