Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of XJ 1861 Decas is built as a living composition, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The style of Xerjoff comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum supports the right density and pace of development.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Citrus, Wood, Whiteflower and Balsamic. The palette also extends to Floral, Spicy, Musk and Gourmet. Within olfactory families the composition sits in Balsamic and East.

As soon as the fragrance opens you detect radiant lemon-bergamot top notes: Mandarin, Tobacco and Tuberose.

When the opening settles you notice Benzoin, Iris and Opopanax keeping a amber-incense direction.

The accord profile rests on these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Musc, Wood, Powdery and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The gender direction is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Overall XJ 1861 Decas reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail. These are the fragrances best judged through real development.
