Description of the composition

The composition of Nio unfolds as a layered story, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The style of Xerjoff is evident in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum emphasizes the depth and body this composition needs.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Citrus, Green, Floral and Whiteflower. The framework further includes Spicy, Ambery and Wood. Within olfactory families the scent maps to Spicy and Wood.

In the first seconds you sense sparkling citrus top notes: Bergamot, Green Chord and Neroli.

In the middle phase you sense Jasmine, Nutmeg and Pink pepper keeping a cinnamon-nutmeg direction.

The accord architecture is driven by these accords: Citrus, Floral, Wood and Amber with each one in a clear role. Secondary accord layers such as Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The profile is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read. In longevity terms Very low suggests confident staying power.

Overall Nio holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best experienced on skin.

From the very beginning, this fragrance delights with bergamot, creating a classic feel. It reminds me of citrus perfumes from the 80s or 90s, but don't think it smells like outdated things. On the contrary, it's a sign of quality and sophistication. There are citruses, spices, a few flowers and greens here. Simply super! ))))
