Character and History of the Fragrance

Xerjoff Quattro Pizzi is a unisex eau de parfum released in 2024.

The fragrance is part of the Casamorati 1888 collection and continues its expressive, emotional direction, in which classic perfumery motifs receive a modern interpretation.

Quattro Pizzi is characterized by a contrasting combination of spicy, woody, aromatic, and gourmand nuances.

The composition makes a noticeable impression without being overly assertive. Its sillage is considered moderate, making the fragrance suitable for those who enjoy a perfume's presence in the air but do not want to leave a dense cloud behind them.

How Quattro Pizzi Unfolds

The fragrance opens with a fresh, spicy accord in which green davana meets coriander, pink pepper, and rum.

This opening adds vibrancy, a subtle bitterness, and a warm boozy facet to the composition, keeping the start from feeling ordinary or predictable.

A soft coconut nuance then emerges, supported by creamy tuberose.

This duo makes the fragrance rounder and more sensual, combining exotic sweetness with an expressive white-floral character.

In the final stage, the composition becomes warmer and deeper: hay, tobacco, and tonka bean create a cozy woody-gourmand base with a dry, slightly sweet character.

Who It Suits and When to Wear It

Quattro Pizzi was created for women and men who are drawn to fragrances with a distinctive personality and a changing mood as they unfold.

It is especially suitable for cool spring and autumn weather, as well as evening wear, when the spicy, coconut, and tobacco accents sound most expressive.

In warm weather, it is best applied sparingly, preferably in open spaces or for evening outings.

The optimal amount of Quattro Pizzi to apply to the skin is one to two sprays.

One or two sprays are also sufficient on clothing. This method helps extend the fragrance's longevity while maintaining the comfortable intensity of its moderate sillage.

The perfumer is listed in the database as undisclosed, and information about other concentrations of this release is unavailable.

Its Place in the Xerjoff Style

The Xerjoff brand is known for its attention to quality, expressive compositions, and the aesthetics of collectible bottles.

Quattro Pizzi reflects this DNA through a multilayered combination of spices, white flowers, exotic coconut, and a tobacco-and-hay base.

As a result, the fragrance comes across as distinctive and memorable, capable of drawing attention to the contemporary side of the Casamorati 1888 collection.

Similar Fragrances

For further exploration of a similar mood, consider Nishane Fan Your Flames.

It will appeal to those who particularly enjoy the warm woody, coconut, and gourmand nuances of Quattro Pizzi.

At the same time, Xerjoff retains its own balance between green spiciness, white-floral softness, and tobacco depth.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

A very dense scent with rich, “drunken” tuberose. It’s too active and has already started to tire me out. There’s also a lot of thick, astringent greenery in the opening. Excellent longevity. I’ll try coming back to it in the cold season

At the opening, the tuberose is very sweet, spicy and dense, immediately taking over everything around it. After a while, this intensity quiets down and a green bitterness appears, slightly lightening the white-floral density. Then a strange chemical milky note emerges, and the scent becomes quite heavy
