Description of the composition

The composition of Crane d’Or Absinthe is built as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Yan Frolov is evident from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Drinks, Sweet, Floral and Aromatic. The palette also extends to Spicy. Within olfactory families the fragrance belongs to Aromatic and Spicy.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the fragrance opens as a single chord with a playful drinkable mood: Absinthe, Honey and Rose. In this format 3 notes act as one integrated frame, creating cocktail versatility that feels seamless.

The deeper layers are read as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The olfactory framework is built around these accords: Aromatic, Gourmet and Floral with each one in a clear role. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

In summary Crane d’Or Absinthe holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. This is the type of composition best experienced in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Golden absinthe, or yellow, comes from the classic green due to natural aging processes. The main accent in the aroma of yellow absinthe "Golden Skull" is a honey note. This honey, gathered from various flowers, has incredible fragrance. When combined with the absinthe note, it creates something hot and viscous, like a potion that embalms the pink cups of young roses. It is truly a strange ritual that preserves the beauty and youth of delicate flowers with the help of a sinister, narcotic remedy of aromatic herbs cooked in honey, which is traditionally used for absinthe.

Sometimes the honey note can sound quite animalistic and even urinal. But in Crane d'Or Absinthe, the honey remains on a gourmet note, although a connection to the drink is still felt. However, the final note, devoid of animalistic shades, seems a bit dull and thin compared to the main sound. But, from the point of view of the drink, this is quite justified - it is important to preserve the aromatic-aquatic tone without overloading the formula with traditional oriental ingredients. Plump buds of embalmed roses in the light of flickering candles look as if they are covered with transparent golden skulls of fairies!!!
