Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Intrigue is shaped as a cohesive olfactory arc, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Yardley comes through in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Citrus, Floral, Whiteflower and Aromatic. The framework further includes Wood, Spicy and Earthy / Mossy.

As soon as the fragrance opens you detect radiant lemon-bergamot first notes: Bergamot and Petitgrain.

When the opening settles you meet Iris, Jasmine, Rose and ylang-ylang holding a velvety rose-iris direction. In what remains on skin the composition is fixed through Basil, Cascarilla, Clary Sage, Clove, Cumin and Ginger, shaping a warm vetiver trail.

The olfactory framework is built around these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Floral and Wood without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Powdery and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The profile is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.
