This fragrance reminds me of previous limited editions, but with a clear emphasis on green notes and patchouli. Otherwise, it remains just as vague and sweet, sometimes even too cloying
For a long time, I only used Prada Candy and Yves Saint Laurent Manifesto, and I was completely happy with that. One day, realizing that Manifesto was almost gone, I faced a problem - it wasn't available in the city. A consultant suggested I try something new, and after much deliberation, I chose Eleganza. Honestly, I approached it many times but just couldn't bring myself to buy it. The fragrance seemed complex yet alluring to me - I wasn't used to such compositions. These aren't the light and sweet perfumes I usually choose. The combination of fruits and leather with patchouli creates a certain "heaviness". This scent is definitely not for young girls, but rather for women aged 25 and older. It's elegant and confident, not tolerating compromises. If someone nearby is wearing another perfume, Eleganza will simply absorb it, and no one will realize it's not their own scent. The sillage fills everything around. I don't recommend wearing it in a stuffy office - in an enclosed space, it might start to "choke" you and your colleagues. Although the fragrance is indeed pleasant and elegant, it can cause headaches. This is just my opinion, of course. I wear it to meetings with friends, when I drink coffee on a summer veranda, or walk along the embankment. I often take it with me on business trips and to forums, as we move around a lot. Outdoors, with a fresh breeze, the fragrance fully unfolds - it makes people turn around and catch its notes. I repeat, this is not a fragrance for 16-18 year old girls, but it has no age limits. I only received compliments outdoors or in well-ventilated areas; at work and in my study group, they asked me not to use it too often. If you're interested, here are its notes: top - grapefruit and pear, heart - golden osmanthus and almond powder, and base - patchouli and white leather 🍐
This fragrance truly stands out with its uniqueness. It's perfectly suited for cheerful women who confidently pursue their goals and might seem a little frivolous. No offense, but I think such a perfume could even suit Marilyn Monroe, even though she preferred other notes. It's light, attractive, and moderately sexy. A funny story: my mom really wanted this fragrance when she smelled it on her colleagues. At that time, I was in Greece and stumbled upon this wonderful bottle by chance. The consultant in the store tried to persuade me to buy a few more Yves Saint Laurent fragrances. She insisted that something stricter with woody notes or pepper would suit my mom better. In the end, I'm glad I didn't listen to her. For the first year, the fragrance reminded me of soap and air freshener, but then it unfolded completely anew for me, and now I enjoy it. It's long-lasting, not cloying, and leaves a light sillage that can be felt at a distance of 1-2 meters. It doesn't cause headaches, and I mainly use it during the day - for studying or at a gallery. I haven't tried it for evening events, so I can't say how it performs there. As for the season, it's best suited for spring and autumn. In winter, it's too warm, and in summer, it might attract insects. Overall, it's an elegant and not overly sweet fragrance that will definitely lift your spirits 🌸
I've been wearing this fragrance for about 4-5 years now. It's really delicate and pleasant, but there's something about it that makes me sad. Girls often come up to me and ask what perfume I'm wearing. You can wear it to different events - whether it's a dinner party or a conference, studying or dancing. It's appropriate everywhere and won't be embarrassing. But I don't smell it on myself, though maybe that's how it should be. I don't wear it in the summer because in the heat, its spicy sillage starts to "choke" you, and insects are drawn to it. I often hear compliments: "You smell so nice, the sillage is so light and delicate, like a cloud" A strange comparison, but it's not the kind of scent that makes people choke in an elevator. It's barely perceptible, but it lasts a long time 😔
This fragrance captivated me the most. In the jar, like from childhood, berry candies lurk, but inside hides fresh juice. First, you feel the sweetness, but then it seems to dissolve into refreshing moisture
Even though this perfume is much denser than its counterpart and animalic notes are clearly audible, it's still impressive. I like it more. It sounds somewhat serious, yet very friendly and gentle. For me, it's like sweet orange with jasmine and rich musk. It's more suitable for confident women or those who are older
