Released in 2007, Tom Ford Oud Wood quickly became an icon in the world of perfumery, embodying the uncompromising luxury of the Tom Ford brand.
This fragrance is part of the exclusive Private Blend line, known for its unique and bold compositions for true connoisseurs.
Tom Ford, whose name is synonymous with daring sensuality and high-class aesthetics, brought the same transformative energy to perfumery as he did to fashion.
Oud Wood is not just a fragrance, but a style statement for those who value exclusivity and are not afraid to stand out.
Belonging to the Oriental and Woody families, Tom Ford Oud Wood offers a rich palette of notes that create a deep and memorable experience.
Its composition combines warm ambery, spicy, and gourmand accords, making the fragrance multifaceted and adaptable to different moods.
The main note groups include ambery, gourmand, spicy, and woody elements, highlighting its complexity and versatility.
As a unisex fragrance, Tom Ford Oud Wood is suitable for both men and women seeking elegant and confident perfumes.
Its medium trail ensures noticeable but not intrusive presence, ideal for evening events, dates, or special occasions.
As a perfume water, it demonstrates good longevity.
For optimal application, it is recommended to use pointwise application on the skin and 1 to 2 sprays on clothing, which helps maintain balance and avoid overload.
The fragrance especially blooms in cool seasons, autumn and winter, when its warm notes create a cozy and mysterious atmosphere, making it a favorite for cold weather.
Personally created by Tom Ford, this perfume reflects his visionary approach, popularizing the use of oud in Western perfumery and strengthening the brand's position in the niche segment.
Oud Wood inspired numerous subsequent releases, becoming a benchmark for luxurious woody fragrances.

To be fair, it's worth noting that the first impression of Man Rules isn't the most pleasant. At first, it seems quite chemical and harsh, not at all as bright and rich as Ford's. But then half a minute passes, and the real magic begins. The alcoholic sharpness fades, replaced by a warm, spicy woody cloud that envelops you.
By evening, it became clear that Ford is still more intense and long-lasting than Man Rules. Yes, Ford's ingredients are clearly more expensive and the concentration is higher. But, friends, the price difference is simply colossal - 10 times! I've never bought perfume for less than a thousand rubles, but here my hand just reached into my pocket. 550 rubles for a fragrance almost identical to Tom Ford - it's simply a temptation! :)
