The fragrance evokes mixed feelings, but honestly, more positive than negative. It's soft and delicate, with a slight bitterness and sweetness. Definitely unisex. I didn't catch the carrot note, even though that's exactly why I bought it, I was curious. But I clearly smell calendula, iris, and saffron, physalis too, and there are also a few not-too-sweet floral notes. This fragrance has something retro about it, reminiscent of Ted Lapidus. The retro notes constantly give way to modern sweetish accents. In any case, it's an interesting scent. It's worth wearing it longer to understand it better. Longevity and sillage are average, needs reapplying once a day. I thought for a long time whether I liked it or not, and, as I said, it's more yes than no. It really is worth the attention
