Sylvaine Delacourte Vahina
The fragrance is indeed very feminine and pleasant. The author mentioned that the name can be translated as "beloved" or "wife," and that accurately reflects its essence. Notes of vanilla, osmanthus, and neroli are distinctly felt in it. The vanilla here isn't sweet, but has a slight woody bitterness, which adds a special depth and nobility to the fragrance 🌸

In the version I tested, there were plenty of berries. The strawberry turned out very natural, without a chemical aftertaste. The sweetness of vanilla, of course, might not appeal to everyone. But, in the end, you can just apply a little, instead of spraying ten times like many do without knowing moderation. And then they wonder why they don't like sweet fragrances

This spring I thought I should try it again, but no, this isn't the lily of the valley I expected. It lacks purity, but has plenty of powder. Although it seems light, its note sounds somehow sharp and even irritating )

The fragrance is really pleasant, you can feel the sweetness of nuts and dried fruits. Woody notes are also present, but the longevity disappointed me. It doesn't last on the skin, which is, of course, upsetting((

Tom Ford Velvet Orchid Lumiere
It's clear that this fragrance is from the same series as CHO. It seems softer, but somehow sounds brighter. I can't explain it, but that's how I feel it. Anyway, I liked it - rich and multi-layered

They gathered everything I don't like here. But I decided to try it again. Lavender with lotus, water lily and grey amber, pepperyness. No, this is definitely not for me. The smell is salty and musty, like from a swamp

For me, "more complex" in this case doesn't mean "better". This watermelon just jumps out, and the blackcurrant screams so loudly that all tenderness vanishes. Watermelon fragrances are not for me )
