Sisu really surprised me. It’s nothing like the brand’s other fragrances: dense, rich, sweet and slightly intoxicating. I smell wood and resins most strongly, and I also get a hint of palo santo.

Longevity is excellent, as expected: on my skin the fragrance lasted more than 8 hours. The sillage was also quite noticeable.

It immediately made me think of incense, sticks and some enclosed place for rituals. For me, this is a story about sacredness and esotericism. I also remembered my part-time job in an Indian goods shop, where everything around smelled of spices and incense😊

I think the fragrance would be great for yoga, meditation and any practices where you need to focus on yourself. I have nothing similar on my shelf, and that makes me happy.

P.S. It was thanks to Sisu that I learned about the "Karo-Karund" note.
In some African cultures it is considered an aphrodisiac and used in rituals. Now I understand where those sensations came from😅
What a twist. We suddenly got hit by cold weather here, just 12 degrees during the day, and even cooler by evening. And it was exactly in this kind of weather that Barenia unexpectedly blossomed beautifully on my skin. I bought a perfume recently and got a sample with it. I sprayed it at home just out of curiosity, sure that I would get another cloying sweetness. In the end, I realized that the fragrance performs beautifully in cool weather, especially in a maritime climate
Definitely not for me. Too sweet, dense and heavy, and it quickly becomes irritating. The skin scent isn't bad, but everything else didn't work for me.
I tested it on a blotter several times, in different weather and seasons, but the conclusion is the same: this fragrance isn't for me
This scent, which is 90% considered unisex, I was told it's interpreted as feminine. But honestly, I'd love to smell it on a man. The cardamom here isn't soft at all, rather it's fresh and a bit coniferous. Try it, and you'll understand everything yourself
