Description of the composition

The composition of Hermès Vetiver Tonka is built on bold chords, dominated by vetiver and tonka beans, creating a warm and cozy base.

Sweet notes of caramel and praline add a delicate sweetness, while hazelnut (forest nut) imparts a nutty depth.

The floral accent of lily of the valley refreshes the composition, and the woody sandalwood and tobacco complete the pyramid, ensuring longevity and sophistication.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

This fragrance is just super! At first, I decided to get a sample, thinking if I didn't like it, it wouldn't be a big loss. But in the end, I bought the full version! For me, it smells like roasted nuts with tobacco, and when I'm in a humid room, it unfolds even more brightly. The scent from my hair is also noticeable, which is nice. As for gender, I think it's more feminine

This fragrance is truly versatile and suitable for everyone. From the first accords, you feel the warmth of bergamot; it's not intrusive, but rather restrained. Then citrus notes unfold, which combine beautifully with vanilla and ylang-ylang. It's a rather unusual and captivating combination

VETIVER just screams at the beginning, and then it seems to recede into the background, but you can still hear it. Sweet tonka beans and hazelnut quickly rush in, creating some strange combination - sour-sweet, smoky, with a caramel aftertaste. Later, sandalwood appears, but it doesn't save the situation. The fragrance isn't heavy, but not light either - it feels like it's pressing down. Jean-Claude Ellena says the perfume is mossy and earthy, but I don't feel anything soft in it. The caramel taste of tonka beans doesn't save it, and it turns out to be more of a masculine scent than a feminine one. And it's just NONSENSE!

I don't feel any chypre notes at all, the fragrance is more woody with spicy accents. It feels like there's no chypre here whatsoever 🌟

Vetiver is a really interesting fragrance. It's soft and delicate, and while it can be considered unisex, in my opinion, it's more suitable for women. The first thing that hits you is a sweetish tonka bean scent with a light cherry accent. Then you feel vetiver with caramel notes, and closer to the base, a light tobacco aroma appears. Overall, it creates a cozy and subtle impression. Longevity on the skin is about 4 hours, and on clothes, the fragrance lasts all day, creating an intimate sillage that's pleasant to feel just for yourself

The vetiver scent is beautiful, sure, but don't overestimate it. Intelligent? Maybe, but to me, it seems too restrained and even boring. Doesn't hit you in the face? Yes, but that's not always a plus. If you love vetiver, maybe it's worth a try, but don't expect anything special 😒

This fragrance is like chocolate with nuts for me. I feel it so much that I don't want to delve into the details of the pyramid. The sweetness here is truly noble, with a slight woody accent. In this line, it has become my favorite 😌

In this perfume, that vetiver just jumps out at you, and the hazelnut adds a cloying sweetness, like someone decided to make a velvet sack out of it. Bergamot is warm, sure, but it somehow doesn't go with this fresh greenness, and tonka beans are totally out of place. The sillage, yes, it's delicate, but it's more irritating than charming. All in all, it's a woody chypre fragrance, but not in a cool way, more in a "I'm just tired of it" way

The fragrance is simply amazing, it's rich and viscous at the same time. Tonka beans are brightly prominent, intertwining with tart tobacco and vetiver. The sweetness of praline and nutty accents create a beautiful woody base

The fragrance isn't entirely gourmand, but it has something from that theme with a nutty-candy note that isn't overly sweet, but rather reminiscent of something like "swallow", even with a slight bitterness. You can feel smoky vetiver and soft sandalwood in it, and a floral note pushes through like a dandelion growing through a crack in the asphalt. This perfume is really good, very much so! 🌼

The fragrance is sweet, warm, with woody notes and a slight hint of praline and hazelnut. Vetiver is noticeable at first, but then somehow quickly disappears. It sounds quite appetizing and alluring, especially for winter. I can't figure out if I like it or not, there's something mysterious about it

The fragrance is truly impressive; it's multifaceted and elegant. Gourmand notes attract attention, and vetiver combined with caramel creates an interesting contrast. Nutty accents add depth, and in the finale, sandalwood and tonka beans unfold, giving the composition completeness. Overall, it's a very captivating perfume that leaves a pleasant aftertaste )

Every day I feel more and more how it attracts me. Before buying it, I only had one approach, and I don't understand why I, being so picky, decided on it so easily. Perhaps deep down I already knew it would be true love. It was with this one that I discovered the world of vetiver fragrances, and it truly became 'the one' for me

This perfume is a real find for every woman, it's simply magnificent! Always with me, it suits any mood and even the whims of the weather. I'm already on my ninth bottle, and that's no coincidence! It's a shame I didn't keep the first one, it would have become a true relic 🌸

The fragrance certainly attracts attention, but for me, it's clearly more suitable for women. It features vetiver, as well as sweet notes of tonka, caramel, and hazelnut. The longevity is simply outstanding, which is a pleasant surprise
