At first, I was hooked by the design, the shade of the liquid and especially the red tube. The pyramid also looked promising, but the fragrance itself disappointed me....
Let me go through it point by point:
1 - the scent is not fresh or contemporary at all, more classic
2 - a strong cologne effect. In the same vein as Terre d'Hermes, and the closest match for me was Sasha cologne by Novaya Zarya, just with added ginger
3 - the ginger here is unpleasant, hot and sharp, literally burning my nose. Together with the cologne base, it makes for an overly harsh mixture
4 - the presentation doesn't convey the character of the fragrance at all, there is nothing extreme inside. At least with sporty fragrances like Full Speed by Avon, the design, color and name match the contents
5 - the price is clearly inflated. It makes more sense to get Sasha or another inexpensive Terre interpretation than pay for Glacier
6 - average longevity, rather short really, and almost no sillage. Technically, it's still just a cologne
This fragrance has a sharp smell of expensive alcohol, like cognac or whiskey with chocolate notes and bitter vanilla. It's some strange luxury, as if a chic woman had too much to drink 😒
The citrus notes in this fragrance are indeed appealing, but beyond that, it's not for me. The sweetness becomes too cloying, and the nutmeg reminds me of the smell of decaying leaves in autumn. In the end, the overall scent is quite sad 😔
The fragrance is really interesting! At the beginning, you feel the sweetness of dry raspberry and a bit of tart herbs, which is very pleasant. But then, unfortunately, all that lightness disappears, and it becomes quite rough and dense. Despite this, it's so captivating that I myself have used it more than once, even though it sounds quite masculine. The woody notes and powdery accents unfold just perfectly - that's great! 😄
The smell of fresh wildflowers and greenery is certainly there. But in terms of quality, it leaves much to be desired. Honestly, I even spray it on the towel warmer just to use it somehow, otherwise, I don't reach for it at all 😕
Miss Dior is clearly not for young people… it's more for an older lady, for a signora or a madam, but not for a miss… The fragrance has too many amber notes, it seems heavy and stuffy. But the longevity is simply impressive! 10 out of 10! For middle-aged women, it will sound just perfect 💖
The scent is nice, of course, but the feeling of a cold, sour rose is just overwhelming. Looks like they tried to create a peony scent, but it didn't work out. Berries add a bit of interest, but overall it's something similar to a pink Versace. No uniqueness, but the quality is decent, in principle. No chemical notes, no alcohol detected at the start either, but the development of the scent leaves much to be desired. Not that rich, not multi-layered, just the level of regular catalog perfumery 😒
