The name Velvet Glove immediately caught my interest. And the fragrance itself lived up to it: smooth, soft, but with a noticeable inner strength.
At the start I sense warm leather and spices, perhaps pepper with saffron, but without any sharpness. Everything smells rounded and quite comfortable. About thirty minutes later, a slightly sweet skin-like nuance appears, more cozy than gourmand. The fragrance is very sensual - you feel it more than simply smell it.
It reminded me a little of Juliette Has a Gun Lipstick Fever, but the composition is deeper and calmer here. It makes no attempt to please everyone, and that's a good thing. It smells expensive, close and rather intimate.
Longevity is excellent: the scent remained on my scarf until the next day. The bottle is minimalist and pleasant to hold, just like the fragrance itself. It will suit those who care about the overall impression rather than a list of notes.
For me, this is confidence without showing off. Calm, alluring and very successful. It's going straight into my favorites
What a chic! The rose here is simply stunning, not inferior even to the most expensive Arabian oils. It's so sparkling, sweet, and incredibly smooth, like a balm that gradually fades into delicate vanilla. This fragrance is full of femininity, it's serious and passionate at the same time 🔥
The fragrance is simply stunning, it's rich and vibrant, yet it maintains lightness and freshness. For me, it seems to be entirely composed of sweet rose notes, and within this richness, I distinctly sense cherry. At first, it seemed a bit monotonous, but as soon as I caught the cherry note, it came alive with new colors and became more playful 🌸
This fragrance reminds me of a sweet fruit cocktail with a bit of warm water added. Sharp spices appear, giving it a special pungency and character. Such a scent definitely won't leave anyone indifferent! 🍹
This scent definitely stands out, but I can't say I really liked it. Berries, yes, but they feel a bit too intrusive. The juice, which should be fresh, actually becomes somewhat tiring and even a little harsh. It's hard to call it summery; rather, it's oppressive with its intensity, especially in the evening. I don't know, maybe it's just not my style, but the feeling it leaves is disappointing 😒
I don't know what Montale is thinking, but this perfume is definitely not masculine. I'm wearing a sample, but I'm not even looking at a full bottle. At first, I thought there were no patchouli here at all, but then I realized it's a balm that reminds me of some dark version of Lalique's Pearls. And then some spicy nonsense with patchouli starts, like in the white Fords. Honestly, I don't get what everyone sees in this 😒
This fragrance definitely has something of a safari… it sounds like it's calling for a journey. On my skin, narcissus and hyacinth bloomed, and it's simply amazing! The fragrance isn't just good, it's chic and magnificent!!! Honestly, I didn't even expect it to be like this. I hadn't even guessed its existence before… it slightly reminds me of Paloma and Knowing, but these are just light hints 😉

Oh, yes, that's right! 😄 The longevity is simply impressive, but for some people, such intensity can turn into a real nightmare
