The scent isn't bad, but in my opinion, it lacks naturalness and some depth. You can't call it minimalism either, although, of course, everyone has their own taste. For me, perfumery minimalism is, for example, something by J-C Ellena for Hermes or Esprit du Tigre. Here, there are three notes, and they sound quite synthetic. Don't get me wrong, the scent makes an impression, it smells decent, but it could use a little more warmth and creaminess, like a good iris soap. Unfortunately, Madame Andrier couldn't add comfort and warmth (just look at her works, it's all clear there). In the end, we have a clean, almost sterile scent that evokes no emotions. It just sits there, like a frozen fish, smiling mysteriously. Sometimes I feel very good in it, but how pleasant it is to wash it off in the evening (if you manage to, of course). In summary: the scent is pleasant, noticeable, but quite characterless and artificial (which sometimes isn't so bad). If for everyday wear, then only for true enthusiasts. It's like choosing boiled sausage when there's so much delicious food around! :) Overall, it's all a matter of taste, culture of use, and individual perception

What a terrible cologne! Honestly, I expected something more interesting, but it turned out to be just boring. Freshness? Yes, but it fades quickly, and only a bitter note remains, which I absolutely dislike. This grapefruit, which should have been refreshing, actually only causes irritation. Eau de Rochas? Yes, it's better, of course, but this fragrance doesn't even come close to its level. The opening seems fresh, but then a strange note appears that smells like stinky bugs. Why is that even necessary? And yes, it disappears from the skin so quickly that you don't even have time to enjoy it. It's like you just splashed it on, and poof, goodbye pleasure! I'm not looking for anything extraordinary in perfumes, I just want the scent to last at least a few hours. In the end, it's just another mass-market product that costs next to nothing and brings no joy. What else can you expect from such rubbish?

First day with Imperial, and, as I expected, I want to change this strange green color to something deeper, like blue. That would be perfect, at least for me. Overall, the scent is quite pleasant, although I'm not a big fan of the apple musk 🍏

I don't like pineapple and apple in perfumery, especially when there's too much of them in men's fragrances. Apple, perhaps, causes more repulsion for me. For example, Joop!'s What About Adam always seemed completely unnecessary to me. So I approached Imperial with a bias. Blind tests don't happen when you already know there's apple and pineapple in it. What can I say? It's a good cologne, well-made, and thank goodness it doesn't last long. But, apparently, because of my dislike for these fruits, the apple is noticeable almost until the very end. Gradually it fades into musk, but it's still apple. The first sniff immediately brings to mind many fragrances: Green Junker, Cool Water, and many other neo-fougères. But then, digging through my memory, Shulton's Blue Stratos pops up. I liked it, but also not really - maybe because of dihydromyrcenol or the pineapples and apples. It had something pleasant, but also a sweetish-metallic note that I'm not very fond of. I have the same mixed feelings with Imperial - I see it's a well-constructed cologne. It's not something new, but it's not supposed to be. It refreshes and disappears. The more I smell it, the clearer I understand that my main complaint is the fruity sweetness, not the bitterness of herbs. If the profile were slightly changed and made more herbaceous, it would be perfect. But, I suspect there aren't many fans like me. So, perhaps, it won't be in high demand. But I think Imperial is headed for success. And, I admit, with each new approach, the apple-pineapple heart irritates me less and less, and I'm firmly intending to buy it, no doubt
