I've been using this perfume for over five years, and it's simply amazing. When women are around, all eyes are on you. But the scent is quite delicate and soft, so it's not quite suitable for big and muscular men - it doesn't match their image 😌
After getting to know La Fumée, I was amazed, although the scent was positioned as masculine. It simply captivated me. I couldn't pass by La Fumée Arabie, as I wanted to understand how the one that had so strongly hooked me would change. Oud, as a trendy note, added a bit of bias, but nevertheless, it found its place. It's still a mysterious, foresty, and smoky scent, very natural. The new notes didn't simplify its sound; on the contrary, they added depth and softened its sharp edges. The original La Fumée was quite insistent and masculine, although I believe that dividing perfumery into masculine and feminine is a convention, especially when it comes to oriental fragrances. This one, however, is softer and more subtle; it gradually reveals its strength without overwhelming from the first sniff. It has more spices, and fewer smoky woody accords. Cardamom and vanilla are barely audible, but it is precisely them that give the fragrance femininity and make its sound interesting. It can indeed suit both men and women, looks great in the evening, is quite long-lasting, and has a pleasant sillage. A complex, strong, authoritative scent, yet delicate enough, it won't be a "red flag" for most, it's so harmonious!!

Aging in oak barrels like wine, this is brilliant, of course. I smelled Sequence at the exhibition, the depth is really different, you immediately feel that it's not mass market.
