Identity and Release History

In 2016, the world of perfumery was enriched by a bright and bold creation — Mancera Aoud Lemon Mint, which instantly captured the attention of connoisseurs of Eastern accords.

This fragrance was born under the wing of the French house Mancera, known for its unique synthesis of European elegance and Eastern depth.

Part of the exclusive Paris Exclusives line, it symbolizes the brand's pursuit of innovation and luxury, offering an experience beyond the ordinary.

Positioning and Wearability

Mancera Aoud Lemon Mint is positioned as a unisex fragrance, making it an ideal choice for those who value the freedom of self-expression beyond gender boundaries.

Released in the form of perfume water, it has a rich concentration that ensures longevity and intensity.

Its medium trail creates an aura of refinement without overwhelming the space — perfect for evening outings or special occasions where you want to leave an unforgettable impression.

Application Practice

To reveal the full depth of this fragrance, moderate dosing is recommended: from 1 to 2 sprays on the skin is sufficient to create a lasting trail, and from 1 to 2 sprays on clothing will help anchor the notes for a longer period.

This approach allows you to enjoy the multi-layered composition without the risk of overdoing it, making the fragrance a faithful companion for the entire day.

Authors and Influence

Behind the creation of Mancera Aoud Lemon Mint is the virtuoso perfumer Pierre Montale, whose experience in working with Eastern and woody accords gave the fragrance a unique character.

His involvement underscores the brand's commitment to quality and artistic vision, strengthening Mancera's reputation as an innovator in the world of niche perfumery.

This release not only enriched the house's portfolio but also became a benchmark for lovers of bold combinations.

Connections and Context

Mancera Aoud Lemon Mint belongs to the Eastern family, reflecting its warm and sensual notes.

It is also linked to the groups Citrus, Leather, Spicy, and Woody, offering a complex olfactory palette.

If you appreciated this fragrance, you might also enjoy other creations: for example, Montale Starry Night with its stellar elegance, Tiziana Terenzi Ecstasy for passionate moments, or Gucci Envy for Men with classic charm.

Description of the composition

Composition Notes

The note pyramid of Mancera Aoud Lemon Mint begins with a refreshing and spicy start: almond adds a delicate sweetness, while black pepper and coriander bring piquancy, and lemon and mandarin gift citrus freshness.

In the heart of the composition, deep and sensual chords unfold: jasmine brings floral tenderness, oud is responsible for oriental mystery, and patchouli adds earthy notes.

The base of the fragrance is built on warm and long-lasting elements: ambergris creates a sensual background, leather accord imparts masculinity, vanilla softens the composition with sweetness, vetiver adds woody freshness, and musk finishes everything with silky tenderness.

This multi-layered journey from a bright beginning to a cozy finale makes the fragrance a true work of art.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The scent is just super! It really impressed me. The oud here is so rich, the lemon adds freshness, and the spices are right there too. When the scent starts to open up, a light powdery note appears, which was such a pleasant surprise for me 😍

The scent really grabs attention, although there's a little bit of a chemical feel. It's refreshing, with notes of lemon and mint, like a gentle breeze. It suits both men and women - I wear it myself, and my husband sometimes does too. Of all Mancera perfumes, this one seems the most captivating to me

Vetiver with citrus and spices. I don't detect oud either on myself or on a blotter. Often, fragrances from this brand reveal only a couple of notes on me

The oud note in this perfume is quite subtle, yet noticeable. The opening, as expected, delights with citrus, specifically lemon or lime with their characteristic sourness and persistence. But these citrus notes disappear very quickly. Then a sweet resinous note appears, slightly floral, though I didn't catch jasmine, I only noticed it here, in the notes. A leather accord is also present, but it is again very gentle and fits perfectly into the overall composition. Overall, I really liked the perfume, as well as its analog - Oud Blue Nuts. Its sillage is noticeable, very attractive, and longevity on me is about 5 hours to the base 🌟

It leaves behind a sense of heaviness, as if something unbearable is looming in the air. It has strange menthol undertones that cause discomfort, and the bitter almond only intensifies this feeling. The resinous notes seem too intrusive. I can't say this is my choice

The scent is really interesting, I liked it. The oud here has a bright lemon accent, and almond powder adds a light sweetness. Patchouli makes it more expressive. Overall, a very invigorating fragrance

The fragrance is actually not bad. Bright lemon with a slight oud tartness, along with cool patchouli and a slightly nutty nuance create an interesting combination. It refreshes and brings calmness, and the longevity is also pleasing. Overall, a very decent fougère!!

Lemon-almond oud is simply a vacation must-have! The citruses here are so bright, and spices like cardamom and pepper add an interesting accent. Almond and jasmine create an amazing combination, and the oud sounds soft and delicate. The base of the fragrance is simply stunning, but the longevity, alas, is disappointing - it lasts a maximum of 3 hours on my skin. Overall, the fragrance evokes only positive emotions and will definitely attract attention!

This fragrance is simply AMAZING! It combines oud, lemon, and mint, creating a unique cocktail that emphasizes masculinity. The freshness and sweetness of mint give it a special charm, and a light amber note adds mystery. It's truly loud and long-lasting, leaving a sillage, like all creations of this brand. Honestly, it's hard to imagine it on a woman - it's too powerful and expressive for that

The fragrance is indeed fresh and intriguing, but on me it smells like I borrowed it from someone. It feels very masculine, you wouldn't even say it's unisex. Longevity on skin is about four hours, but on clothes it lasts longer, almost two days until you wash it. Lemon and spices clearly stand out, while the other notes remain a mystery to me

The scent is quite sharp and not the most friendly. There's too much bitter lemon in it, as well as oud and musk. The musk, unfortunately, isn't pleasing; my skin didn't accept it and produced something unpleasant, like the smell of sweat

Honestly, the scent is too sharp, it hits you right in the nose. Oud with lemon somehow doesn't blend well, and jasmine doesn't save the situation at all. In my opinion, it's more unisex, but it won't suit everyone, so don't get your hopes up 😒

The scent, of course, starts with an oud accord, in which you can feel the tartness of lemon and a hint of almond. It's quite rich. I didn't decide to buy it for myself, as my expectations didn't match what I ultimately got ))

The scent is truly delightful, it's fresh and interesting. On the skin, I can feel bright lemon, as well as pleasant notes of oud, spices, jasmine, almond, and patchouli. I didn't notice any mint

On cold skin, the scent sounds too sharp and alien. Spices dominate, and the lemon trail only adds to the strangeness. Not impressive!!!
