Mancera Indian Dream: A Dream of India in Perfumery

Released in 2014, Mancera Indian Dream is a women's fragrance that embodies the luxury and mystery of the East.

This perfume belongs to the Greedy Pink collection, known for its vibrant and sensual compositions.

At first glance, Indian Dream attracts attention with its name, promising a journey to exotic lands and reflecting the ambitious spirit of the brand, which combines French elegance with Eastern flair.

Character and Fragrance Families

Indian Dream is classified as a floral and oriental fragrance, making it ideal for those seeking a balance between delicacy and sensuality.

The notes in this perfume include elements from the floral, gourmand, musk, white floral, and woody groups, creating a rich and multifaceted composition.

This reflects Mancera's DNA, which is renowned for its luxurious oriental perfumes that attract connoisseurs worldwide.

Positioning and Wearability

As a women's fragrance, Indian Dream is intended for self-assured women who appreciate sophistication and depth.

Its trail is rated as medium, meaning it leaves a noticeable but not overwhelming impression, perfectly suited for evening events or romantic encounters.

The concentration is eau de parfum, ensuring good longevity and intensity, allowing the fragrance to gradually unfold on the skin.

Usage Recommendations

For optimal effect, it is recommended to apply Indian Dream by walking into the spray cloud on the skin, so the fragrance distributes evenly and creates a light, enveloping sensation.

On clothing, it is best to limit it to 1 to 2 sprays to avoid overloading and maintain elegance.

This perfume is excellent for the autumn-winter season or cool evenings when its oriental notes shine particularly brightly.

Creator and Inspiration

The creator of this fragrance is the renowned perfumer Pierre Montale, who is known for his oriental and floral compositions, which have earned him recognition in the industry.

His work on Indian Dream reflects the mastery in creating complex and harmonious perfumes, where each note plays its role.

The fragrance contributes to Mancera's reputation as a brand that blends French luxury with Eastern motifs, strengthening its position in the luxury perfume market.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Indian Dream - it's just a nightmare, not a fragrance. Floral-spicy? Nah, more like floral-sharp. At first, it feels like you've landed in an oriental bazaar, and then, as it starts to unfold, it only gets worse. Longevity? Maybe it's long-lasting, but there's no sillage here, just a suffocating smell that makes it hard to breathe. Powdery-vanilla fairy tale? A fairy tale for those who love to choke on sweetness. Don't recommend it if you don't want to ruin your mood ))

I didn't encounter anything like it in India. The fragrance is very feminine and refined. Here you can feel notes of heliotrope powder, sweet orange blossom, the freshness of jasmine, and a vanilla base. It's long-lasting and leaves a gorgeous sillage ✨

The scent is truly rich, with a bright sillage and an oriental character. Floral and woody notes are wonderfully combined in it. It has sweetness, but with a slight bitterness, which makes it interesting. I would say it's more of an evening fragrance, not for everyday use. The longevity is simply excellent. Depending on the season and humidity level, it unfolds differently, which is pleasing. It's especially nice that it doesn't sound monotonous and isn't too cloying

The fragrance is truly beautiful, it's very feminine and floral. Sweet notes are felt, the tenderness is simply captivating, as if enveloping you. Peaches clearly stand out, their scent simply fills the space

This perfume really impresses with its longevity and sillage. I get a ton of compliments when I wear it. The scent is floral, with a light sweetness and exotic notes. It reminds me of the atmosphere of a luxurious spa

This oriental fragrance, though calm, still can't help but be annoying. There aren't many spices here, of course, but that doesn't make it any better. It's surprising it even made it to market. All in all, for me, it's one of those perfumes that aren't worth the attention

Not entirely oriental, but there's something to it. A little spicy, a bit mysterious, truly unusual. Overall, the scent is pleasant, but I wouldn't say it captivated me

The scent of a real woman, no doubt! It's a bit selfish, with hints of pretentiousness, as well as headstrong and untamed at first glance. But it's definitely memorable, awakening a man's wild hunter instincts. This scent makes you go to extreme lengths to win her over, and in return, she rewards the victor with thrill and tenderness 🌹

The fragrance is simply amazing! It's spicy and powdery, with a warm and dense scent. Longevity and sillage are simply impressive. But the name. I don't understand why they named it that, it has nothing to do with India

The fragrance is simply gorgeous! Bright, rich, with powdery notes and warmth. Absolutely made for autumn and winter, it wraps you in coziness. Longevity is top-notch, the sillage is simply amazing!

This fragrance surprises with its complexity and coziness. It's as if it changes its facets, sometimes warm, sometimes rich, and at times even sweetish. I feel it evokes contradictory emotions in me, I can't quite say if I like it or not. But there's something alluring and mysterious about it that makes you think 🤔

A powdery scent with hints of sweetness and light spices! It unfolds simply amazingly on the skin. At first it seems a bit sharp, but then it becomes incredibly soft and pleasant. True inspiration!!!

The scent is interesting, of course, but it's too intrusive and bright. Sweet-tart notes press on your ears, and heliotrope and geranium seem to scream about themselves. White flowers also give no peace. Cardamom is felt in the base, but it doesn't save the situation. This floral-spicy-powdery cocktail leaves a bitter aftertaste, as if something important has slipped away

The scent is truly warm and floral, creating a cozy atmosphere, especially in winter. It reminds me of oriental sweets you might find in Turkey. I get a feeling it's somewhat similar to Dior Cherie. For me, 5 ml of a decant is more than enough to enjoy this fragrance

Rose with a light powdery tint, complemented by white flowers, sandalwood, and musk. The scent is truly bright and feminine, very beautiful. Longevity is high, and the sillage is simply impressive
