Celine Perdrillat is a contemporary Parisian perfumer whose journey into the world of fragrances began with a passion for nature and its pure, unadulterated scents. After receiving a brilliant education at the legendary ISIPCA institute in Versailles, she honed her skills at major perfume companies, including Robertet. It was there that Celine immersed herself in the world of natural ingredients, developing a unique, recognizable style.
Celine Perdrielle's style can be described as minimalist naturalism. She advocates transparency in compositions, where each note sounds clear and harmonious. Her perfumery signature is a tribute to high-quality natural materials, often rare and exceptional. Céline sees her mission as creating honest fragrances that tell the story of their origins, avoiding excessive complexity in favor of emotional depth and elegance.
The most significant chapter in the perfumer's career is linked to her collaboration with the historic house of Berdoues. Celine Perdriel did not just create individual fragrances for the brand—she effectively acted as creative director and "nose," reinterpreting its heritage. Under her leadership, the successful Grand Cru collection was created, and her ability to work with natural accords helped Berdoues gain a prominent place in the modern niche perfumery market.
Among the perfumer's most iconic works is the fresh and sunny Berdoues - Musc & Néroli, which has become the brand's signature scent. Equally beloved by fans are the green and woody Berdoues - Lierre & Bois and the tropical, coconutty Berdoues - Koh Phi Phi. Later, in collaboration with Atelier Materi, Celine presented the world with the exquisite and cool Atelier Materi - Rose Ardoise, as well as the sensual and smoky Atelier Materi - Cuir Nilam, demonstrating the impressive versatility of her talent.
Céline Perdrielle belongs to a group of contemporary masters who are changing the industry by restoring its trust in natural ingredients and simplicity of design. Her work is always a dialogue between traditional perfumery and the modern demands of conscious consumption. Discussions and reviews of her fragrances in the connoisseur community often revolve around their "honesty" and amazing ability to evoke vivid, pure images, which only confirms Celine's status as one of the most inspiring "noses" of our time.
