Perfume information

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Aer is shaped as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The style of Angela Ciampagna comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum keeps a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The accord profile is shaped by these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Wood and Spicy forming a compact and readable structure. The profile is unisex, which clarifies the composition character. In wear duration High indicates a stable lasting impression. In projection Weak describes the way the scent radiates.

From the first breath you catch sparkling citrus first notes: Grapefruit, Lemon and Mint.

In the heart you detect Juniper holding a velvety sandalwood direction.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Aromatic, Balsamic, Wood and Citrus. It also reaches into Gourmet. Within olfactory families the composition sits in Citrus, East and Wood.

In summary Aer holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail. These are the fragrances best experienced on skin.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

The fragrance turned out to be quite heavy and gloomy for me. I got acquainted with it, but honestly, it didn't grab me. For the first time, I felt the elemi note on myself, which, it seems, should have added freshness with lemon essence, but that didn't happen. This scent reminds me of a woman in a black dress cleaning some dark and damp place, be it a church or a tavern. The walls there are old, stone, permeated with the smells of life, and the wooden floors have seen many steps. Somewhere, perhaps, there's another reality? With sunny days and light calico dresses, but this fragrance is definitely not about that 🌧️

I bought a decant, and what can I say? The fragrance is certainly beautiful, but not without its flaws. Vetiver is here, yes, but it's somehow too spicy and green, with that minty note that's just irritating. Woody and citrus resins, which were supposed to add depth, actually only get in the way. From the very beginning, vetiver is felt, but on the skin, it unfolds in such a way that it creates a feeling as if you're in some damp forest, where everything is soaked with moisture and moss. I don't know about others, but I don't like it. In general, I don't expect anything good from it

For me, Aer is a real forest. Vetiver clearly plays its role here, although it's just grass, it sounds so woody! Imagine an old stump that has already started to rot, or a log half-hidden in the water. And also a thick juniper branch, which is sometimes placed between stacks of linen for freshness. And, of course, sweetish pine bark with a balsamic tint, as well as a tart drop of resin. Underfoot, you can feel a bush of wild mint. The fragrance is so dense and thick, like resin, it seems to hang in the air, untouched by the wind

This smell reminds me of an abandoned forest where some evil spirits hide. Juniper here is so oppressive, and patchouli with vetiver create an atmosphere as if you're lost in a swamp. This is definitely not for women, but purely men's perfumery. Horrible! 😤
