Nox joined the Angela Ciampagna portfolio in 2015. A unisex fragrance belonging to the spicy, east, and floral families. The talent of Angela Ciampagna is written all over this bottle. Created within the Hatria collection and available in eau de parfum.

It carries a noticeable sillage, leaving a trail that lingers pleasantly in the air. The longevity is high — this one will stay with you for the long haul. Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Nox evolves as a layered story, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The style of Angela Ciampagna comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum keeps a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Floral, Musc and Wood without random overlap. Background accords such as Spicy and Mineral expand the olfactory volume in the background. The gender direction is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read. In longevity terms High indicates a stable lasting impression.

In the first seconds you detect petal-airy first notes: Bergamot, Cyclamen, Lily of the Valley and White Acacia.

When the opening settles you sense Hinoki, Pink pepper, Salt and Wormwood carrying a velvety sandalwood direction.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Citrus, Floral, Whiteflower and Wood. It also reaches into Spicy, Mineral, Green and Musk.

Overall Nox reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best understood in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The name of the fragrance, though it translates as "Night," for me, it's associated with a walk through an ancient forest where age-old trees are covered in moss. The first notes aren't floral, but rather bergamot. No nocturnal atmosphere is felt. Overall, these are pleasant, non-repulsive sensations of dampness and mustiness, slightly tinted with resinous accents. But soon you emerge into a clearing, and the forest dampness begins to subside, giving way to various herbs. Resinous notes are still present, but a slight bitterness of wormwood is added to them. Some herbs are already starting to wither, drying out. The scent becomes drier, but not like stinky hay. Then comes a cool humidity, as if an icy stream flows nearby. "Wet" notes, strangely enough, are created by salt. I understood this when I carefully studied several of Angela's fragrances. I feel a sweetish vanilla and a dry, slightly tart patchouli. For several hours, a dry medley of herbs is felt, alternating with cool water and small inclusions of vanilla and patchouli 🌿
