The note pyramid of Nanban is shaped as a cohesive olfactory arc, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The signature of Arquiste is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum keeps a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

In the first seconds you catch piquant warm top notes: Black Pepper, Saffron and Tea. Exactly these 3 notes form voluminous spicy depth that anchors the first impression immediately.

In the central layer you notice Coffee, Leather accord, Myrrh and Osmanthus holding a dense confectionery direction.
