Description of the composition

The scent of Oud Maximus is built as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The style of Bortnikoff is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Perfume extract supports the right density and pace of development.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Citrus, Spicy, Whiteflower and Floral. It also reaches into Musk, Animals, Wood and Balsamic. At family level the composition sits in East and Wood.

In the top tier you sense radiant lemon-bergamot first notes: Bergamot, Cardamom, Jasmine Sambac and Orange.

In the central layer you detect Clove, Frangipani, Magnolia, May rose, Rose and Tonka bean holding a harmonious floral direction.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Animalistic, Balsamic, Citrus and Gourmet without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Floral, Fruit, Musc and Wood expand the olfactory volume in the background.

Taken together Oud Maximus sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best experienced through real development.
