Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Santa Sangre unfolds as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The style of Bortnikoff is evident from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Perfume extract emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

Right at the start you sense radiant jasmine top notes: Jasmine Sambac, Pink Grapefruit and Vanilla. Exactly these 3 notes build light sensuality that is impossible to miss.

In the middle phase you meet Pink Lotus and White Lotus holding a velvety rose-iris direction. At drydown level the structure settles through Benzoin, Dragon's Blood and Sandalwood, reinforcing a viscous balsamic trail.

The stylistic positioning is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Whiteflower, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral. The palette also extends to Balsamic and Wood. From a family perspective the composition sits in Balsamic and Floral.
