Brocard, the modern guardian of the Russian perfume legend with a history since 2000, introduced in 2019 the fragrance "May Rose" in the form of eau de toilette.
This feminine perfume is part of the Aromatherapy collection, highlighting the connection with nature and the healing properties of flowers, making it ideal for admirers of natural aesthetics.
"May Rose" by Brocard is a delicate and inspiring floral fragrance that embodies the freshness of a spring garden.
Belonging to the floral family, it combines bright and soft notes, creating a sense of lightness and harmony, perfectly suited for warm seasons and romantic moments.
With a faintly perceptible trail, this fragrance is positioned as a delicate choice for close interactions and everyday wear.
For optimal effect, we recommend applying 2 to 3 sprays on the skin and 1 to 2 sprays on clothing to maintain freshness throughout the day without overloading.
If "May Rose" has appealed to you, it's worth paying attention to similar fragrances, such as Dior Addict Eau Sensuelle, M.
Micallef Pure Extreme and Molton Brown Celestial Maracuja, which also explore floral and fresh themes. Additional information can be found on the official website.
Brocard continues to strengthen its reputation as one of the leading Russian brands, offering fragrances that combine naturalness and elegance.
"May Rose" is a beautiful example of how modern interpretations of floral themes can delight sophisticated perfume enthusiasts, reflecting the brand's DNA as a guardian of traditions.
The fragrance has low persistence and lasts on the skin for about 2–3 hours, gradually fading and smoothly revealing its main notes
A subtle trail—just a hint of fragrance
The perfume has a fresh scent that is not too intense, so it does not overwhelm those around you with strong essences
A light and elegant fragrance with harmonious richness—the perfect balance between the depth of eau de parfum and the freshness of cologne
Fragrances for spring and summer unfold with light citrus notes, floral and fruity accords, filling the composition with freshness, airiness, and a feeling of carefree lightness on warm days
The fragrance pyramid of 'May Rose' begins with top notes of rose and verbena, which provide a fresh and invigorating start, reminiscent of the first rays of spring sun.
In the heart of the composition, rose and dog rose unfold, adding depth and floral tenderness, like a stroll through a blooming garden.
The base consists of geranium, which imparts stability and a warm tone, completing the bouquet with soft completeness.
These notes, belonging to the citrus and floral groups, harmoniously intertwine, creating a holistic and memorable impression that gradually unfolds on the skin, leaving a subtle aftertaste.

The rose imitation here is quite clean and radiant, with citrus and light berry notes, but a scent of dried herbs and a slight soapy note are added to it. Personally, I lack the velvety smoothness and depth for a complete illusion of a fresh rose. But if I didn't know this was a natural fragrance, I wouldn't say it was exclusively so: pure radiance, harmoniously chosen accords, and a neat balance - everything's in place. Yeah, maybe it's a bit boring, but nobody promised me fireworks and complexity. They promised rose and aromatherapy - and here they are, right in front of me 🌹
Now for the positive points. The scent is very natural, the bottle design is pleasing to the eye and nice to hold. I detect the freshness of garden greenery, a slightly tart geranium, and a young, slightly sour rose with leaves and stems. Overall, it's a truly pleasant and delicate fragrance that people around me notice and comment on: 'Something smells nice' If it were just a bit more long-lasting, it would be simply perfect!
