Oh, how awful it is, simply unbearable. Sweetish-leathery, almondy - is that all there is to say? In the sillage, it's completely different, but on the skin, when you inhale, you only feel these disgusting leather notes, bitter and sweet at the same time. I don't understand how anyone can love it, it just repels me. Maybe on a man, but for me, it's definitely not unisex. Describing it is a real torture, I struggled with this review for a long time. The longevity is good, of course, but that doesn't save it. It smells somehow strange and very expensive, but I don't need that ))

The first time I tried this fragrance at IDB, it immediately captivated me. So delicate and feminine, its scent lingered on my blouse for several days. But then the second test at L'Etoile - and I wondered: how could I have liked it at all? It's just a harsh, suffocating smell, reminiscent of men's cologne. And the third time at Rive Gauche - complete disappointment. I had almost come to terms with not buying it, but then I walked past IDB again and couldn't resist - and fell in love all over again 😔

After another testing of the fragrance, I got the feeling that a tobacco note appeared in it. I can't figure out which notes create this effect, but it's definitely there. It's a bit out of harmony with the overall scent, so I'm lowering my rating by one point 😔

The opening with almond and bitter wood is certainly something. The plum here smells like it's from a bag of dried fruits. And at the end, this sweetness of tonka beans and creamy heliotrope - well, it's just lovely. You want to revisit this fragrance again and again. But the celery - that's definitely too much. Overall, it's not bad, but it has its nuances

Carner Barcelona fragrances are simply amazing! They are truly created with soul, and you can feel it. I was particularly struck by Cuirs and Tardes - simply magnificent! I'm really looking forward to trying El Born.<br><br>Tardes starts with rosewood, which quickly fades but leaves a light almond trail. After about an hour, a tartness unfolds, which seems to come from plum and Bulgarian rose. And in the base, heliotrope lingers long against a sweet background of tonka beans. The sillage isn't too strong, but it lasts a long time.<br><br>I tried applying it to my hair, but unfortunately, the smell wasn't the most pleasant - it reminded me of something not very fresh. So for me, this fragrance is better used on the skin. Overall, it's a very refined and exquisite perfume!

This fragrance is too sweet for me, almost like pure almond with added heliotrope. It's clearly gourmand, but it doesn't make me want to eat it, although almond cookies wouldn't be unwelcome. In the background, there's a coolness, perhaps palisander, which prevents Tardes from becoming something light and airy like a macaron. The base has a sweet tonka bean powder. Overall, the entire woody line from Barcelona seems very sweet to me. Even Cuirs, which many consider masculine and compare to Black Afgano, smells not like leather or spices on me, but rather something sugary. Wearing such fragrances outdoors is pleasant, but indoors they can be too heavy. One spray is just right, more is overkill. The longevity is simply excellent, especially on clothes

At first, it seems almondy, with a bitter undertone, quite rich, but at the same time cozy. Gradually, a sweetness begins to unfold, and in the end, a base appears that reminds me of Masaki Matsushima's Mat Chocolat, which I remember from my student years 😔

But here's the strange thing: sometimes it brings back memories of plastic toys from my childhood that I used to play with. The fragrance is simply awful, there's nothing refined about it. It's suffocating, like a heavy blanket in the heat. It smells as if someone decided to mix almonds with dust and add a bit of wood. No warmth at all, just harshness and repulsion 😒

But then it unfolds with flowers, sweetness, and musk, which is simply captivating. Very feminine, it gives a certain maturity. Personally, I think it's better suited for cool weather, because in summer it might give you a headache. Longevity is good, the sillage, however, is not too noticeable
