Description of the composition

The note pyramid in Carven Paris Florence begins with a bright and juicy chord of Blackcurrant, which creates an energetic and fruity introduction, instantly capturing attention.

At the heart of the composition, a trio of exquisite floral notes unfolds: Freesia imparts airiness and freshness, Heliotrope adds soft vanilla and almond nuances, and Magnolia brings elegance and warmth, creating a harmonious and delicate bouquet.

In the base of the fragrance, deep and soothing notes take root: Myrrh provides balsamic sweetness and spirituality, Sandalwood gifts a creamy and woody texture, and White Cedar concludes the composition with a light and clean woody note, ensuring longevity and a soothing finish.

This seamless interplay of notes from start to finish makes Paris Florence a multifaceted and memorable fragrance.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

The fragrance is okay, of course, but there's nothing special about it. It smells somewhat flat, more suitable for warm days. Berries and flowers, yes, freshness is present, but then there's this light oil on the skin. It feels like it breaks the overall mood. A feeling that something is off, and it leaves a BITTER aftertaste

The scent is simply excellent. The blackcurrant here is delightful, and the flowers add lightness. The creamy magnolia note makes it soft, and heliotrope gives it a special allure. A very good perfume, it's not as well-known here, but I often encountered it in Europe. It lasts a long time

The fragrance is truly impressive with its longevity and richness. It's more suitable for spring or autumn days. First, you feel fresh notes of blackcurrant leaves, and then a berry accent unfolds 🍇

Strangely enough, the fact remains: Carven's perfumed journey to Florence bypassed the city's most important flower - the iris. Instead, attention was given to magnolia and heliotrope. However, magnolia, heliotrope, and freesia, the third floral note, are reliably hidden beneath a transparent oriental-musky base. Under a fruity-balsamic veil, which resembles either tart apricot jam or a synthetic imitation of jasmine sambac, one can discern aquatic flowers: cool magnolia and delicate freesia. Paris-Florence is a case where the elements of the composition do not blend but maintain a distance, allowing their individuality to be appreciated. This is truly impressive. But the scent itself is disappointing. Paris-Florence smells luxurious, but in a bad way. It seems to try to get lost among a multitude of floral-oriental fragrances, especially reminiscent of Armani's Sí Passione. And that's not a compliment. Yes, when compared to other fragrances in this genre, Carven probably stands out with the quality of its materials and the perfumer's work, but the deliberately luxurious approach, which has long been considered bad taste in exclusive lines, makes it less attractive among the entire collection

The flowers are delicate, slightly powdery at first, and then a hint of blackcurrant tartness appears. The base is soft, with notes of sandalwood and resin. The fragrance is simply amazing, it really draws you in )

The fragrance is light, with floral-powdery accents that blend perfectly with delicate, slightly tart greenery. The base is woody, pleasant, and long-lasting. The sillage is simply amazing!!!

What an amazing and light fragrance! It fills the atmosphere with joy and carefree spirit. Delicate floral notes, a hint of powder, and a berry tartness create a stunning bouquet. The fragrance is truly multifaceted and pleasant, but unfortunately, its longevity leaves much to be desired

The fragrance is just awful, there's no tenderness or femininity in it at all. The floral veil is too intrusive, and the berry undertone is completely out of place. The woody-resinous notes just ruin the whole impression. I don't recommend it, better choose something else

I really liked the fragrance! The freshness of freesia and bright blackcurrant create a cool combination, and the base with powdery heliotrope and alluring sandalwood is simply super. Longevity, of course, isn't perfect, but overall it's a great perfume! 🌸

This fragrance, to be honest, isn't impressive. Brightness and cheerfulness - that's all nonsense. On me, it starts with some sour blackcurrant and leaves, which are completely out of place. Then freesia, magnolia, and heliotrope appear, but that doesn't save the situation. Green and powdery notes are just unnecessary details that only get in the way. And the base? Woody, with a balsamic nuance – sounds somewhat boring and banal. In short, I expected more, but got disappointment

The scent truly attracts attention with its unusual sound. Here, bright floral notes intertwine with light greenery, and you can also feel soft powder and creamy sandalwood. It's a very pleasant, cozy, and cheerful smell

Out of the entire collection, this scent impressed me the most. It's like it transports you to Italy, where carelessness, sun, and warmth reign. The sea and luxurious resorts, full of tranquility, are painted in the imagination. Summer landscapes are simply captivating. Such a perfume is perfect for a southern vacation. It's light and sunny, instantly uplifting! ☀️

The opening of the fragrance with notes of blackcurrant and white flowers is truly delightful, you feel freshness and playfulness, it's pleasant 🌸 But by evening, only shadows of these flowers remain, and instead, woody notes with a resinous tint appear. This resinousness and balsamicity disappointed me a bit. Overall, the fragrance is not bad, it unfolds brightly and beautifully. But don't rush to buy it!

Heliotrope isn't my favorite, but in this fragrance, it's just beautifully balanced. A delicate floral bouquet with a light fruity nuance, and the powdery note adds sophistication. It turns out very harmonious and pleasant!

This fragrance needs to be experienced on the skin several times to understand its true character. On paper, it seems appealing, with bright blackcurrant and flowers, but that's misleading. As soon as it hits my skin, that berry note disappears too quickly. Instead, some unpleasant balsamic resinousness appears, with bitter and churchy notes. It's more of a disappointment than a pleasure!
