Korean Perfumery: How K-Beauty Came to Fragrances
At first, the world fell in love with Korean creams and sheet masks. Then it was the turn of scent, ...
Carven launched Paris Prague in 2019 — and it was a brilliant move. A masculine fragrance rooted in the wood and aromatic families. By character, it falls into the spicy, wood, and fruit groups. The palette of this fragrance is exceptionally rich: traces of citrus can also be found — a rare combination that makes this perfume truly one of a kind. The fragrance belongs to the The collection. The fragrance is presented as eau de parfum.
Expect a noticeable sillage — enough to be remembered, not enough to overwhelm. Recommended dosage: 2-3 sprays on skin, 1-2 sprays on clothing. It settles in and stays — the longevity is genuinely high. Produced in France, and you can feel it in every note. Paris Prague Carven — the choice of those who appreciate depth and character in every detail.
The fragrance is highly persistent and lasts on the skin for up to 8–10 hours, gradually revealing its notes and allowing you to enjoy the full bouquet throughout the day
The scent is clearly present near you, but it does not fill the entire space
The perfume has a rich aroma that will help you stand out from the crowd and create a memorable image
A rich and elegant fragrance that gently unfolds on the skin and lasts most of the day, leaving a delicate trail
Fragrances for spring and summer unfold with light citrus notes, floral and fruity accords, filling the composition with freshness, airiness, and a feeling of carefree lightness on warm days
The olfactory structure of Paris Prague is shaped as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The style of Carven is recognizable from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum supports the right density and pace of development.
At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Fruit, Spicy and Wood. The framework further includes Aromatic. At family level the scent maps to Aromatic and Wood.
Without strict stage separation the notes arrive together with a noble cedar mood: Cedar, Juniper berries, Lime, Patchouli and Pink pepper.
The inner phases are perceived as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which keeps the fragrance coherent.
The accord architecture is built around these accords: Citrus, Wood and Spicy forming a compact and readable structure. The stylistic positioning is masculine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. In wear duration High indicates a stable lasting impression.
Taken together Paris Prague holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best judged in wear.

The Prague fragrance is a fresh take on the leather-amber theme, completely different from La Havane. It combines bright notes of lime, juniper berries, and pink pepper with calmer accords of cedar and leather. The leather here resembles suede, and violet leaf adds freshness. The amber is transparent, with a light tobacco nuance and a creamy sandalwood aftertaste.

All these different notes are united by a sweetish accord that is difficult to identify: dried fruits, vanilla, sweet citruses, and fresh flowers are heard in it, but it remains a background, emphasizing the main elements. If we talk about elegance, Prague is a complex and mysterious elegance that will be appropriate even for those who consider themselves connoisseurs of perfumery 🎉
