Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Sensual Summer evolves as an expressive line of development, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The signature of Celine comes through in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de toilette supports the right density and pace of development.

The internal accord map is driven by these accords: Floral, Fruit, Musc and Wood with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Amber expand the olfactory volume in the background. The profile is feminine, which clarifies the composition character.

In the top tier you detect vibrant berry first notes: Pear and Violet leaf.

When the opening settles you sense Cyclamen, Freesia, Gardenia, Lily of the Valley, Peony and Tuberose keeping a harmonious floral direction.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Fruit, Green, Floral and Whiteflower. The framework further includes Ambery, Earthy / Mossy, Wood and Musk.

In summary Sensual Summer sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best experienced on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The fragrance turns out quite bitter and floral, with a light freshness and powdery notes. Sweet pear is present here, but it's not ripe. Personally, I find it too heavy, I can't wear it for long, the floral bitterness is too intrusive. I feel this scent right up until it completely disappears from my skin 🌸
