Key fragrance characteristics

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Lavande is shaped as a cohesive olfactory arc, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Charrier Parfums is evident in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de toilette emphasizes a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

Right at the start you catch sparkling citrus top notes: Citrus accord, Lavender, Orange blossom and Sage. These 4 notes set a sensation of cool purity that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

When the opening settles you notice Chamomile, Coriander and Lavender carrying a harmonious floral direction.

The accord architecture is driven by these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Floral and Musc with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Spicy add depth to the backdrop.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Green, Whiteflower and Aromatic. The framework further includes Floral, Spicy, Musk and Gourmet. Within olfactory families the composition sits in Floral.

Taken together Lavande reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, and the base secures the trail. This is the type of composition best experienced on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The scent turned out quite sharp and loud, in my opinion, it resembles men's cologne more than something feminine. The lavender here is too soapy, and the spices just scream for attention 🌸
