Description of the composition

Note Pyramid and Development

The composition of Chloé Narcisse begins with a bright fruity-floral chord: the top notes include apricot, frangipani, marigold, peach, pineapple, and violet, creating a juicy and optimistic start.

In the heart of the fragrance, deeper floral and spicy shades unfold: clove, gardenia, jasmine, narcissus, rose, and spices, adding warmth and complexity.

The base consists of cedar, sandalwood, tolu balsam, vanilla, and musk, providing a lasting and cozy final note.

This pyramid smoothly evolves on the skin, from playful fruitiness to floral tenderness and a woody foundation, making the fragrance multifaceted and memorable.

Key notes, such as apricot, marigold, narcissus, and spices, play a special role, linking all layers into a harmonious whole.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

I once gave this fragrance to my mom, she adores it, it reminds her of the past. But, honestly, I can't say it's completely vintage. Rather, it's a modern scent, just not for young girls. A floral classic that will suit more mature ladies

The scent is truly unusual. Narcissus isn't the only star here, that's for sure. You can feel fruits and spices in it, creating a rich and voluminous composition. It doesn't fit into modern trends, which makes it even more interesting 🌟

I couldn't pick up the narcissus at all. For me, it's more of a chypre, with a mix of spices, woody notes, resins, and vanilla. There's a slight powdery note and bitterness. It sounds quite current

The scent is truly amazing. Bright narcissus combined with peach and apricot notes creates an interesting effect, and spicy spices, especially clove, add a special zest. Overall, it's a very original perfume

Agreed, this is indeed an unusual chypre, not like those from the early 90s. The spices here are simply astonishing! It feels like you're not just smelling flowers, but entering a world of aromatic pickling spices - clove, black pepper, and bay leaf create an amazing combination. Fruits aren't as noticeable; rather, they add a slight sweetness than stand out. This impression leaves a vivid mark!!
