Chloé Nomade Nuit d'Égypte — a fragrance with a travel-inspired character

Chloé Nomade Nuit d'Égypte Eau de Parfum is a women's fragrance released in 2024, created for those who appreciate not only beautiful compositions but also genuine olfactory stories.

It belongs to the Nomade collection and reveals its free-spirited mood through warm spices, resins, white flowers and soft vanilla.

The distinctive aesthetic of Chloé is especially apparent in this composition: Parisian refinement, romanticism and a sense of inner freedom.

The house, founded by Gaby Aghion in 1952, has long been associated with a light, independent style, while Nomade Nuit d'Égypte translates this DNA into a richer, more mysterious and oriental scent.

The fragrance pyramid and how the composition unfolds

The fragrance opens with an expressive spicy accord in which cinnamon and ginger create a warm, slightly sparkling impression, while myrrh adds resinous depth.

Gradually, the scent becomes more expansive: floral nuances intertwine with dryish woody and balsamic tones, creating an unusual contrast between light and shadow.

At the heart of Nomade Nuit d'Égypte, orange blossom emerges not so much airy and citrusy as sunny, creamy and surrounded by spices.

Nagarmotha, opoponax and kufi lend the composition a distinctive oriental texture, while broom softens the density of the resins with a floral, honeyed nuance.

Character, sillage and wearability

In terms of mood, this is a warm, spicy and balsamic perfume with an oriental character.

Its sillage is considered moderate: the fragrance is noticeable to those around you but does not seek to fill the entire space, making it well suited to situations where expressiveness and delicacy are equally important.

Nomade Nuit d'Égypte feels especially harmonious in cooler weather, in the evening, during a walk, on a date or at an atmospheric dinner.

At the same time, its vanilla base makes it cozy enough for everyday wear when applied with restraint.

One to two sprays are enough on the skin, while two to three can be applied to clothing, depending on the density of the fabric and the desired intensity.

Who will enjoy this fragrance

This release will appeal to women who love spicy oriental compositions without excessive heaviness or sharpness.

It is a good choice for fans of vanilla, resinous accords and white flowers, as well as for those looking for a distinctive fragrance with an unusual character but without excessive extravagance.

Nomade Nuit d'Égypte can be an intriguing introduction to the richer side of the Nomade collection.

If you would like to compare it with other expressive compositions, consider Amouage Interlude Woman, Moresque Jasminisha and Dior Poison Bracelet: they have different personalities, but share noticeable spiciness, depth and a striking development.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The top notes of Nomade Nuit d'Égypte open with a blend of cinnamon, ginger and myrrh.

Cinnamon creates a warm, spicy accent, ginger adds vibrancy and a subtle sparkle, while myrrh immediately brings balsamic depth.

In the heart, broom, Kufi, nagarmotha, opopanax and orange blossom come together, making the composition floral, resinous and woody all at once.

Orange blossom softens the oriental richness with a sunny white-floral nuance, while nagarmotha and opopanax accentuate the dry, slightly smoky texture.

Vanilla lingers in the base, lending the fragrance softness, comfort and a gourmand finish.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

At first liked, thought to buy. White sweet flowers. Applied but it made me nauseous, too cloying. Reminds of Amarige Givenchy. Not unique

A soft, feminine honey fragrance. It starts sweet, citrusy-ambery, while honey and honeycomb clearly emerge in the base, somewhat in the style of L'Instant Guerlain, along with unobtrusive flowers. Calm, elegant and appropriate almost anywhere. Contrary to expectations, it doesn't resemble Nomade at all

Once again I was convinced that one test tells you nothing. Today I liked the fragrance much more than in warm weather. It's deeper and more interesting than the new Jardin d'Egypte
