Identity and Release History

The fragrance Chloé See By Chloé, released in 2012, is a women's Eau de Parfum from the See By Chloé collection.

This perfume embodies the free and romantic spirit of the brand Chloé, founded in Paris in 1952 by Gaby Aghion, who introduced the concept of "prêt-à-porter de luxe".

The See By Chloé collection is often associated with a younger and more modern interpretation of the house's aesthetic, offering light and playful fragrances, ideally suited for everyday wear and reflecting a dynamic lifestyle.

Positioning and Wearability

Chloé See By Chloé is positioned as a feminine fragrance with a medium trail, making it a versatile choice for various situations from morning strolls to evening gatherings.

It is recommended to apply 1 to 2 sprays on the skin and 1 to 2 sprays on clothing for optimal duration and soft projection.

As an Eau de Parfum, it offers a balance between intensity and freshness, suitable for spring and summer days, as well as for informal meetings or office environments where understated elegance is important.

The fragrance belongs to the Floral and Fruity families, which adds cheerfulness and lightness, making it complementary and recognizable among perfume enthusiasts.

Creators and Influence

The creation of Chloé See By Chloé was handled by the renowned perfumer Michel Almairac, whose experience brought harmony and refinement to the composition, enhancing Chloé's reputation as a brand that combines classical elegance with contemporary trends.

For those seeking similar options, one can consider the fragrances Burberry My Burberry Blush, Cacharel Scarlett, and Liu Jo Liu Jo Eau de Parfum, which also offer floral-fruity chords to diversify a perfume collection.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

How sad it is, but ylang-ylang with apple blossom evokes strange feelings in me. It's seemingly joyful, yet at the same time so empty. For me, this fragrance is too frivolous, as if it's made for superficial encounters and thoughtless shopping trips. I bought it to brighten up evenings at home, but sometimes I want something deeper, not just a carefree existence)))

This fragrance became my starting point for getting to know this amazing brand. It's truly feminine, but also has excellent longevity and sillage. I can smell citrus notes, apple blossoms, ylang-ylang, and woody accents in it. I used a small bottle, but didn't repurchase because the ylang-ylang note started to annoy me. But overall, the fragrance gives confidence and positive emotions!!!

What a wonderful and charming scent! It has a slight audacity, as if embodying spring, freedom, and femininity. The longevity is simply excellent, and the sillage isn't too intrusive. The packaging is incredibly beautiful, resembling a golden cage from which the free spirit of ylang, jasmine, and musk breaks out!!! Simply magnificent work

On the blotter, you can feel the freshness of citruses and floral notes, but on the skin, it all unfolds too brightly. The bottle, of course, attracts attention, but the ylang-ylang overpowers everything else, creating an cloyingly sweet effect. The honey accents aren't pleasing either, and the longevity of the fragrance only intensifies this feeling 😔

The fragrance reminds me of lemonade. It sounds simple, but I really liked it. It's kind of sad that it was discontinued, and now the price for it is through the roof and it's hard to find. When I used it, I didn't give it much thought

This fragrance was once a real find for me in spring. It's fresh and sweetish, with a light powdery note that adds a special twist. There's a slight tartness, which makes it even more interesting. Very long-lasting and leaves a pleasant sillage, which is also important

How sad it is that this fragrance is no longer produced. Finding it now is a real problem. It was so refreshing and floral, with a slight tartness, completely unique and memorable. It's gone, and something important went with it 😔

What a cool scent! It's such a shame they discontinued it. It's so fresh, clean, and vibrant, yet incredibly feminine. The longevity is simply excellent - it lasts about 10 hours, and on clothes, it stays until washing

Honey, apples, and powder - that's what's mixed in here. The fragrance is just loud and bold, but I didn't notice any development. There's some kind of chemical feel, not very pleasant. But the longevity is just off the charts 😤

The fragrance is really long-lasting, and its sillage is impressive. But this powdery and soapy nuance... it feels somehow too mature, you know. Neither summer nor winter trials brought any pleasure, it just didn't grab me at all 😕

Somehow it turned out that my husband gave me all three versions for March 8th, even though he knows perfectly well that I like oriental fragrances. The scent, in general, is not bad, but nothing more. There's some sour freshness, flowers, and green fruits, but nothing special. Overall, a disappointment

The apple tartness gently breaks through the bright jasmine, and honeyed ylang-ylang adds a special twist. This fragrance is a true floral-fruity cocktail that evokes associations with spring and femininity. It's as if it tells its own story, full of freshness and temptation 🌸

The fragrance is indeed long-lasting. I was looking for something with apple notes and decided to test this one. But, unfortunately, it's not the fruit itself here, but apple blossom, and that's noticeable. They say it's discontinued? Such a shame((🍏

Spring, and here it is, the first warmth. The smell of bitter apple blossoms, and the wind brings a light jasmine aroma. Rich, honeyed, with a languid sillage. Mixed feelings, I can't figure out if I like it or not

The fragrance really stands out with its originality, which isn't entirely typical for Chloé. I'm sure you can recognize it 99% of the time, though of course, one shouldn't make predictions. So what's so special about it? It's a real mystery! I smell bright bergamot, jasmine, and ylang-ylang, as well as a slight hint of apple blossom. The base is simply delightful, sweet and candy-like. This fragrance gives a feeling of youth and joy. I've tried it both with body lotion and in combination with perfume, and both options are simply magnificent!!
