Fragrance information:

The year 2013 gave us Leatherware No 02 Coach. By character, a masculine fragrance drawing from the leather and aromatic families. Perfumer Frank Voelkl left a distinct mark on this composition. From the Leatherware collection; released as eau de parfum.

Country of origin — the United States, and that already says something about the quality. Leatherware No 02 Coach unfolds gradually, effortlessly, and with great refinement — a perfect choice for day or evening.

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Leatherware No 02 is shaped as a living composition, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The signature of Coach is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum emphasizes the depth and body this composition needs.

In the first seconds you catch sparkling citrus opening notes: Citrus accord and Rhubarb. These 2 notes set a sensation of cool purity that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

In the heart you notice Black Pepper, Green Chord and Thyme carrying a warm-spicy direction.

The accord profile rests on these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Musc and Wood without random overlap. Additional accords such as Leather and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Citrus, Green, Spicy and Aromatic. It also reaches into Leather, Earthy / Mossy, Wood and Musk. From a family perspective the scent maps to Aromatic and Leather.

Taken together Leatherware No 02 sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best understood through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.
